The host, Martina, makes you feel at home. Nice and excellent location if in need to be short walk to taxis for journeys further afield, the hill and the outskirts of town. In fact, the property is situated in a beautiful area.

The apartment was spacious and great value for money. It had access to a lovely garden, perfect for relaxing with a drink. the location was convenient, with the town just a short walk away.
There were a couple of step areas within the apartment that were not well highlighted, posing a potential trip hazard. the heating system struggled to warm up the large apartment and the convector fire in the living room was noisy.

I was delighted to find a welcome package of milk, butter, and a delicious loaf waiting for me in the well-appointed kitchen. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, with a separate lounge, kitchen/diner, bedroom. The bed was cozy, and there was plenty of storage space for my belongings. I appreciated the supply of leaflets and brochures highlighting local attractions, as well as the small reading library. The shower had a steady supply of hot water, and the patio in the beautiful garden was a perfect place to relax. The location was peaceful and quiet, with lots of great walks in the area. I had a fantastic stay at Aftonbank and would highly recommend it.
There were a couple of step areas within the apartment that were a bit tricky to navigate, especially in semi darkness. A clear highlighting of these steps would have been helpful.

The location of the hotel was ideal, with a short 10, minute walk to all the attractions and amenities. the peaceful and quiet area provided a relaxing atmosphere. the rooms were well, appointed, with comfortable beds and a great shower. the kitchen/diner was spacious and well, equipped, allowing for a pleasant meal preparation.
One minor drawback was the potential trip hazard caused by certain step areas within the hotel, particularly in dim lighting.
